Here are some new spirits to add to our store; Slow and Low straight rye whiskey, which is handcrafted in small batches by Hochstadter’s in Philadelphia, PA. “Our Rock and Rye is stirred slow. Over a low heat. To marry the robust rye whiskey with the raw honey and dried navel oranges.” We also received a whole brand of vodkas called Menage a Trois, and they come in berry, citrus, and regular flavored vodka. “Crafted with the finest American grains and pristine California mountain spring water, Menage a Trois Vodka is distilled six times before undergoing our proprietary triple filtration process. The result is an exquisitely smooth, exceptionally silky vodka with a sweet, clean finish.” And last but certainly not least, Glen Grant Single Malt 10yr, which received the 2014 Jim Murray’s whisky bibles’ best single malt scotch under 10 years. “James Grant, “The Major,” was only twenty five when he inherited the Glen Grant Distillery in Rothes, Speyside. A forward thinking and unconventional man, “The Major” personally designed the innovative tall slender stills with unique purifiers to achieve his vision of a seductively smooth, fruity, rich, superior sinlge malt. Glen Grant 10 year old displays a rich golden barley colour with a balanced medium-dry bouquet. So to start off our new products we received some higher end Absinthes; Nouvelle Orleans which “represents a tribute to the City of New Orleans, which served as an epicenter of absinthe culture throughout the Belle Epoque. Its heritage is firmly rooted in the original absinthes that gave rise to such timeless cocktails  as the Sazerac and Absinthe Frappe. The incomparable flavour is derived from a full compliment  of Grande Wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) and a wealth of other rare exquisitely cultivated Euoropean botanicals traditionally used.” And the Jade 1901 Absinthe which “was faithfully recreated by analyzing antique bottles of the original liquor dated cerca 1901. Jade 1901 Absinthe represents a painstakingly accurate tribute to one of the finest original absinthes of the 19th century. Jade 1901 resurrects the bold flavour and fragrance that earned the original brand its distinction as one of the premier absinthes of the Belle Epoque.” We also received a new tequila, Tres Agaves, and that is available in both Blanco as well as Reposado.  Last but certainly not least, we now have  limited edition Tanqueray Old Tom Gin. “In 1835, Charles Tanqueray, distiller, entrepreneur, and innovator, made his first explorations into the old tom style of gin, perfecting the recipe in the years that followed. Almost 180 years later, Tanqueray master distiller Tom Nichol has drawn inspiration from Charles’ closely guarded recipe in crafting this old tom gin. Fall is here, and with the change of season comes new products here at East Bend Liquor! We received Fretello Hazelnut Liqueur which is “produced in the north of Italy using exclusively IGP (Protected Origin) Piemonte hazelnuts. Fratello’s irresistible taste is obtained from an original formula which includes cocoa beans from Ivory Coast; vanilla pods from Madagascar; elder flowers from the Italian Alps and natural acacia honey.” And just in time for the football season we got the Heritage Distilling Co. Batch No 12 vodka which is distilled from corn with three team inspired colors; The Ducks, Beavers, and the Seahawks. Heritage Distilling Co. is a craft distillary out of Gig Harbor, WA and is proud to be a part of the Northwest and helping customers be able to choose local.  We also added some New Amsterdam flavored vodkas to our shelves, so come check them out. They are available in Citron, Red Berry, and Coconut, perfect for mixing.  Another product that has been added to our inventory is Sam Houston American Straight Whiskey, bottled for Western Spirits by Three Springs Bottling Company in Bowling Green, KY. Fall is almost here in Bend, and while the weather gets chillier and the leaves begin to change there are some perks to the colder temperatures, and those perks are the seasonal liqueurs that we get in every year.  It is now time to embrace everything pumpkin, apple pie and peppermint flavored! So, to start the fall season off we have three products that just arrived; Fulton’s Harvest Pumkin Pie Cream Liqueur and Kahlua Peppermint Mocha Rum and Coffee Liqueur, which are both perfect in your coffee or other fall mixed drinks.
